These five caves rightly bear the title “the most dangerous caves in the world” – they are full of hidden angles and channels, and some have their own lives to those who have tried to investigate.
1. Yucatan caves
These caves are formed when part of the country was over the Yucatan peninsula, creating holes that are called “Zeno”. From the eighties until today only 2,400 to 6,000 of Zeno mapped divers who dared to enter them, and many who dived there lost their lives in these dark labyrinths.
2. Jacob well
Jacob well is one of the longest underwater cave in Texas. Deep is 10 meters to the corner, from which descends deeper and contains a number of narrow cells. Its bottom is at 40 meters depth.
Using the tools of research, these spacious caves gradually mapped. The deepest point is located at 1.230 meters depth. A survey of this cave is still in progress.
4. J2 cave system in the Sierra Juarez mountains
5. System Cheve
These caves are also found in the Sierra Juarez mountains and 2.5 thousand meters deep, and therefore potentially the deepest caves in the world.
