New Researches show: The Intelligent People are Never Bored

Nothing is boring for the Intelligent People. This is a result of the new research. They are happy even when they can relax with their thoughts.

This means that in general, they spend more time chilling, than the less Intelligent People.

These  studies were conducted by the University of Florida.  They showed that the people with lower IQ are more bored. They cannot fight that boredom, so they are turning to any work or physical activity.

In a study published  the Journal of Health Psychology, researchers from the Florida Gulf Coast University explained that ‘the relationship between cognition and physical activity is an important question for the human experience, and the interaction likely extends across the lifespan.

To understand if laziness is a sign of intelligence, the team selected 60 undergraduate students from Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.

The scientists used old test for the “need to cognition”. They chose 30 students who incline to invent new ideas and 30 students who in general avoid any kind of mental work.

They gave a fitness gloves which monitored the physical activities on a daily basis, to all of the participants.

This allowed the team to monitor the 60 students’ movement and activity levels and received a stream of data to analyze.

After the seven days, the team compiled the pulled samples and found the  participants who describe themselves as “inclined to thinking” were significantly less active, than those who admit that avoid any mental work.

Researchers also note that those who are more intelligent and lazier may endure negative side effects from their sedentary lifestyle.

.“Ultimately, an important factor that may help more thoughtful individuals combat their lower average activity levels is awareness,” the researchers said. “Awareness of their tendency to be less active, coupled with an awareness of the cost associated with inactivity, more thoughtful people may then choose to become more active throughout the day.”
