The wait is finally over. Chip Kelly has finally decided that Blaine Gabbert is not the answer at quarterback for the 49ers.
After being heavily scrutinized for his recent protests, Colin Kaepernick will be pushed into the spotlight even more after being named the starter, again.

Kelly has hinted at Kaepernick becoming the starter once he was fully healthy, and he finally seems ready to go.
The 49ers have also decided to restructure his contract.
@RapSheet he better than Gabbert

It’s essentially do or die time for Kaepernick in San Francisco. If he can return to his form during the Jim Harbaugh era, he’ll likely stay in the Bay Area.
If it doesn’t work out, Kaepernick could be looking for a new home this offseason.
Either way, Kaepernick is going to get his chance to start next week in a tough matchup against the Bills.
