The mission of cleaning the reactor at the Japanese nuclear power Fukushima, was suspended after the radiation broke a Robot.

The experts were “stuck” in Fukushima – the mission using a robot remote control had to be interrupted because the experts feared they will completely lose control of their research due to the extremely high radiation.

The robot which is equipped with high-pressure water pumps and cameras designed to withstand the most extreme conditions, was immediately drawn out from the inactive reactor in the Fukushima nuclear power. The device reportedly broke down after only two hours.

The failure led the experts to make a new estimate of the level of radiation inside the damaged reactor.

As Japanese media transmit, this case or the breakdown of the robot left no doubt that the radiation in the reactor remains at record levels.
