New and beautiful concert hall in the northern Chinese city of Harbin looks like a spaceship that has just landed on Earth.
Along with opera hall in Sydney and Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, Harbin follows the trend style of building “cathedral” of music and dramatic art.
Behind the unique stand design architects from China (MAD Architects) was aimed creating buildings that seem to grow from the vicinity of city water.
The building of the concert hall is made of natural materials following the geometry that provides an enormous amount of light inside the building without the need of using electricity.
The complex spreads over 78,000 square meters, and during the winter months, the concert hall thanks to the specific form completely disappears under snow.
