Nature have different personalities like we people have. It can be fierce, angry, destructive but also can be, gentle, kind and rewarding. Mother Nature has rewarded us with many places on this earth for us to explore and indulge the beauty of her masterpiece.

Here are 10 Nature masterpieces that you should add to your travel list:

  • Pamukkale

This City is located in western Turkey and is much famous for its hot springs and massive white terraces. This is a result from the travertine carbonate mineral left from the water that was flowing down the pools. The water is amazing and full of essential minerals that are friendly for the human body.

  • Derweze

This Derweze is small village located in Turkmenistan in the middle of the Karakum Desert. It is known for the Darvaza gas crater which later got the name “Door to Hell”. This is the result of human interference when Soviet geologists discovered a cavern filled with natural gas they started drilling but after some time the ground beneath the drill collapsed leaving a huge burning hole on the ground that it’s still burning today.

  • Plitvice Lakes

Croatia has many national parks that are beautiful to the eye but Plitvice is the biggest and most stunning of them all.

The national park was founded in 1949 and its located in the mountainous karst area of central Croatia.

  • Moraine Lake

It’s located about 9 miles outside of the Village of Lake Louise and it’s a result of a molten glacier pouring down the mountain valley. The lake, being glacially fed, does not reach its crest until mid to late June. When it is full, it reflects a distinctive shade of blue.

  • McWay Falls

This small taste of paradise is located in Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park approx. 37miles south of Carmel, California.

  • Lençóis Maranhenses

Located in Maranhão state, northeast of Brazil. It is a massive area of 580 square miles of discrete sand dunes occasionally flooded with water.

This masterpiece of Mother Nature is 9.220ft tall and 7.671ft wide and serves as triple border point of Venezuela (85% of its territory), Guyana (10%) and Brazil (5%).

Although you can explore and enjoy the vast cone-shaped rock formation on the ground, the true beauty of its creation comes from above, so I strongly suggest taking a hot air balloon while visiting this place.

Although this has human factor mixed in is needless to say that this is very pleasant to the human eye. Located in Netherlands and can only be witnessed in the month of April where you can discover many fields filled with this amazing flower of a different color.
